Through the canvas, wood and pigments, Daniel LeBlond unveils the spiritual dimension hidden within the material. Treating each stroke as momentum in the process of incarnation, he does not conceal the difficulties encountered by the artist on his path towards the accomplishment of his works. Welcoming the sacred rooted in Eastern and Native American traditions, LeBlond was particularly influenced by the Japanese spirituality discovered under a Zen master. By nourishing the soul, each spiritual exchange frees us from ancient determinisms. The art work is a medium allowing onlookers to come in contact with transcendence.
